Moose Jaw Warriors Face Elimination in WHL Playoffs

Warriors Drop Game 4 in Brandon

Moose Jaw, SK - For the first time in the 2024 WHL Playoffs, the Moose Jaw Warriors are facing elimination.

The Warriors dropped Game 4 to the Brandon Wheat Kings on Wednesday night by a score of 4-1. The loss gives Brandon a 3-1 lead in the best-of-seven series.

Moose Jaw got off to a good start in the game, taking an early 1-0 lead on a goal by Atley Calvert. However, Brandon would tie the game later in the period on a power play goal by Nolan Ritchie.

The Wheat Kings would take the lead for good in the second period on a goal by Jake Chiasson. Brandon would add two more goals in the third period to seal the victory.

The Warriors will now need to win three straight games in order to advance to the second round of the playoffs. Game 5 will be played in Moose Jaw on Friday night.
